digital Animation – Backend first
When i read about the problems of animation houses today, the one thing i see as a main issue is asset management, or lack thereof. The idea that character sheets and background paintings are not digitized from the start is mind boggling.

I digitized penciled character sheets from the WB web site. The audio matches quite well for using flash 4.

its taken 6 months for my brother and i to get this far, but we are using assets as a coder or game programmer would use and have 3 fully detailed environments in production. Though the first video might still be months away the production of added content will be a breeze because the pieces are all defined.
How about it – all studios should have a github type depository for character assets.
